Terms of Service

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must state that using the platform or creating an account forms a binding agreement, identify the contracting entity, and explain how these terms relate to the Privacy Policy and to any separate employer or advertising agreement.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must set the minimum age for using the service, require account details to be accurate and kept up to date, make the account holder responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under their account, and set out the rules for employer accounts acting on behalf of a company.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must set out what a candidate warrants and must not do, including that profile and CV information is accurate and their own, that they have the right to share any third-party personal data contained in a CV (for example referees), and that applications are genuine.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must set out the rules for posting jobs and handling applicants. It needs to cover:

• listings must describe genuine, currently available vacancies
• listings must comply with Cyprus and EU equal treatment and non-discrimination law
• no fees may be charged to candidates for applying or being placed
• applicant data may be used only to assess that application, with the employer acting as an independent controller under GDPR
• prohibited listing types, such as pyramid schemes, unpaid work presented as employment, or listings that exist to harvest personal data

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must prohibit misuse of the platform, including scraping, bulk data extraction, automated access, reverse engineering, unauthorised security testing, uploading malware, impersonation, spam, and any unlawful, misleading or offensive content. It must state the consequences of a breach.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must explain the paid products (subscription tiers, job posting bundles, listing boosts and extended durations), how prices and VAT are displayed, when payment is taken, that billing runs through our payment provider, how subscriptions renew automatically, how a subscription is cancelled and when cancellation takes effect, and what happens to unused credits on downgrade or cancellation.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must set out the refund policy and address the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers under EU distance selling rules, including whether and how that right is waived when a service starts immediately. It must also cover what happens if we remove a listing for breach of these terms.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must state that users retain ownership of the content they submit, grant us the licence we need to host and display it (defining scope, duration and sub-licensing), confirm that users are responsible for their content, and describe our right to remove or refuse content along with the process for reporting it.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must reserve ownership of the platform, its software, branding, and database rights in the aggregated listing data, and set out the limited licence granted to users.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must make clear that we are a venue connecting candidates and employers, that we are not an employment agency and not a party to any employment relationship, that we do not guarantee any job, application response or hire, and that we do not verify the accuracy of listings, companies or candidate profiles beyond any checks actually described here.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must set out what is and is not warranted about availability, accuracy and fitness for purpose, while preserving the statutory rights that Cyprus and EU consumer law does not allow to be excluded.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must define the cap on liability and the categories of loss excluded, and must expressly preserve liability that cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence and fraud, together with consumers’ non-excludable statutory rights.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must set out when we may suspend or terminate an account, whether notice is given, how a user closes their own account, what happens to paid subscriptions and live listings on termination, and which provisions survive.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must explain how we change these terms, how much notice is given for material changes, how continued use or a re-acceptance prompt constitutes acceptance, and how a user who does not accept can close their account.

AWAITING LEGAL TEXT — this section must state that the agreement is governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, identify the competent courts, preserve a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in their country of residence, point to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable, and give the address for formal notices.
